Delete your PairSpend account or data
PairSpend is published under the name Drumbox Studio.
To request deletion without the app, email drumboxstudio7@gmail.com. Use the subject “PairSpend account deletion” and identify the Google email address you used to sign into PairSpend.
State whether you want your cloud account deleted or want us to review particular personal data. We will verify that the request is yours before making changes.
Do not send your password, payment-card details, backup password or a financial export. If you no longer control that email address, tell us so we can discuss proportionate verification.
You do not need to reinstall PairSpend or buy Premium to submit a request. Deleting your PairSpend cloud account does not delete your Google account.
Delete from the Android app
- Open PairSpend and sign in with the Google account you want to delete.
- Open Settings → Delete cloud account.
- Read the effects below, confirm deletion and complete the requested Google sign-in verification.
If you are the household owner, deleting your account dissolves the household and ends access for both members.
You can transfer ownership to your current partner before deletion if you want the household to continue. The partner must accept through the app with their own verified annual subscription.
Transfer is optional and is not required to request deletion.
What is removed or retained

Deletion starts when the request is processed. Larger cleanups and retries run in background batches.
For GDPR rights requests, we respond within one month and explain any permitted extension. You will be told if specific data must be retained and why.
Firebase's provider-side deletion of authentication information from live and backup systems can take up to 180 days after a deletion request is sent to Firebase. This is separate from revoking PairSpend access.

Remove personal data without deleting the cloud account
You can edit or delete records and budgets through PairSpend.
Individual record deletion can leave internal deletion markers used to keep the ledger consistent.
To erase all local PairSpend app data, first save anything you need, then use Android:
Settings → Apps → PairSpend → Storage → Clear storage/data
Names may vary by device.
This removes local-only records and settings. It does not delete your cloud account, shared cloud records, files you saved elsewhere or your Google Play subscription.
Delete exports and encrypted backup files separately from the storage locations you chose.
Ask recipients to remove copies you shared if needed. We cannot remotely erase copies held independently by another person or provider.
For information stored by PairSpend's cloud service that you cannot remove yourself, email drumboxstudio7@gmail.com and identify the data concerned without sending unnecessary financial details.
Subscription expiry is different from account deletion
After verified subscription expiry, new shared writes and synchronization stop, but authorized local snapshots remain readable and exportable while they remain on the device.
The cloud household is eligible for cleanup 180 days after expiry.
Account deletion or household dissolution may remove it earlier.
Do not rely on an expired cloud household or a partial local snapshot as your only copy.
Cancel Premium separately
Cancel through:
Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PairSpend → Cancel subscription
Alternatively, use PairSpend's Manage subscription in Google Play action.
Account deletion and uninstalling do not cancel renewal.
